10/28: Movie Discussion (Adults): Love movies? So do we! Join Reel Talk, Pennsauken Free Public Library's new movie club. Each month, we'll gather to discuss a featured film, explore its themes and characters, and share different perspectives in a fun, relaxed setting. This month's featured film is Frankenstein. Borrow the movie from the library, watch it before the meeting, and join us for a lively discussion. Light refreshments will be provided. Registration is appreciated but not required.

We will be closed on Monday, October 12th, in observance of INDIGENOUS PEOPLES’ DAY. We will reopen Tuesday, October 13th at 10am.

10/24: Pumpkin Patch Creations (Kids & Teens): Get creative with our Pumpkin Decorating Program! Bring your imagination and decorate a craft-pumpkin with fun colors, designs, and decorations. No registration required.

10/10: DIY Saturday: Vejigante Mask (Adults): Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Ceciley and create your own colorful Vejigante Mask! Learn about this vibrant Puerto Rican tradition while designing a unique mask to take home. 3rd Floor, Program Room 2.

10/15: Rooted in Our Curls: (Ages 16+): Julissa Maldonado, owner of Mane Artistry Salon, and stylist Ericka Dubois will present a program specifically designed for the care and upkeep of curly hair. They will share their passion and knowledge of curly hair for a fun and interactive experience. No registration is required.

10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19: Google Drive Computer Class (Adults): Digital Navigator Andrew teaches Google Drive skills in a 4-week class on Thursday mornings and evenings. Registration is required. Visit or call the library to register.

10/28: Book Club: (Adults): Join us for an engaging book discussion! This month, we’ll be discussing The Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett. 10/17: Halloween Movie (All Ages): Join us for a viewing of a fun, family friendly Halloween movie to celebrate the spooky season!

10/16: Fall Family Movie Night (All Ages): Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a special outdoor screening of Disney•Pixar’s Coco! Bring a blanket or chair, grab some popcorn, and enjoy a family-friendly movie night in the library’s Patio Area.

10/19: Movie & Munch (Adults): Join the FOL for Movie & Munch in Program Room 1 on the 3rd floor! Participants are encouraged to bring their lunch, but the Friends will have snacks and drinks. Enjoy a fun movie experience with your community at the library.

Line Dancing (Teens/Adults): We are excited to welcome instructor Rasheed Bellamy and his "Can You Kick It, Yes You Can" line dance class Tuesdays every month! Get ready to groove while learning new dance moves.

10/11: Friends of the Library Plant Swap & Sale (All Ages): Bring your propagated plants and seeds to swap with fellow plant enthusiasts in the library’s cafe area.

10/16 & 10/30: Fall Wellness Sessions (Adults): The FoL are sponsoring a series of adult wellness workshops led by instructor Michelle Carlino. Each session can be attended individually and will focus on different topics related to health and well-being. Sessions will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, following the yoga session. 10/31: Not So Scary Halloween at the Library (All Ages): Join us in Youth Services (Floor 3) for Halloween activities designed for folks who get overstimulated with traditional trick-or-treating.

10/9, 10/16, 10/23 & 10/30: FOL Chair Yoga (Adults): These hybrid classes will be held virtually via Zoom and in person at the library's Cultural Center (2nd Floor). 10/10: Saturday Salsa (16+): In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, join José for a fun, free, beginner-friendly salsa class at the 2nd Floor Cultural Center! Learn basic salsa steps, meet new people, and enjoy dancing in a welcoming environment. No experience required!

9/14: Graphic Novel Discussion (Teens & Adults): We’ll discuss Mariko Tamaki’s “This Place Kills Me.” This Eisner award-winning mystery uses comics, letters, diary entries, and news articles to unravel what happened to Wilberton Academy's popular thespian Elizabeth Woodward after she is found dead the morning after opening night.
