Juneteenth Celebration

Pennsauken invites the entire community to the Township’s annual Juneteenth Celebration. Held on Saturday, June 13, noon to 3:00 p.m. at the town’s municipal complex, 2400 Merchantville Ave., this special event honors equality, community, and culture.

For Juneteenth, attendees will have opportunities to enjoy food, music, and vendors; connect as a community committed to unity; and honor the significance of the day along with special guest speakers.

A true highlight of Pennsauken’s celebration will be the performance of the Universal African Dance and Drum Ensemble, one of the largest professional authentic dance groups in the country.

As many of the performers and vendors are also supporting other community events that weekend, there is no rain date for the Juneteenth Celebration.
